NewsPicture "Sustainable Local Authorities"  is a long term program initiated by the Norwegian ministry of Environment and KS (umbrella organization for norwegian local authorities) in an effort to strengthen the local policies and actions on sustainable development, energy use and climate neutrality.

The program is organized around thematic networks where local authorities with similar interests works on defined topics together. Some of the outputs of the programme is sustainability reports, action plans and performance indicators for monitoring progress on targets and actions.

More than 140 local authorities have signed up for one or more thematic networks, the majority on climate and energy related issues.

Frameworks, represented by Geir Andrew, have been participating in the programmes advisory board and contributed to the shaping of indicators and reporting methodology.

Based on Digimaker CMS we have  developed a publishing system for the local authorities where reports, news and other relevant information will be gathered.
