Climate Neutral Network
Climate neutral network
The Climate neutral network, CN Net, is a bold  initiative to address climate change and the urgent need to de-carbonize the global economy. CN Net is being offered as one solution to the challenge of rising greenhouse gases. Frameworks has been involved in the technical development of the site and we are also in the process of defining our own climate strategy and applicaiton to join the network.
Several nations and many local authorities and businesses are defining and implementing strategies to dramatically reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Some have decided to go even further by pledging to be "climate neutral" by a specified date.

Launched on 21 February 2008. the Climate Neutral Network (CN Net) aims to assist those interested in achieving big cuts in greenhouse gas emissions to achieve their goals:Firstly, by making public the inspiring plans and strategies that pioneering partners have drawn up in order to achieve climate neutrality and encouraging them to publicize their achievements—and challenges—via regular up-dates of the web pages.

The technical development and content management system for the first version of the CN NET,  launched in februaru 2008 was developed  by Frameworks and UNEP/Grid-Arendal for UNEP Nairobi.

The site is as of may 2009 developed and managed by UNEP on their server and CMS platform.
